Do you enjoy listening to peaceful music while working at your desk, reading, meditating, or simply taking a few moments to unwind?
Music can help create an atmosphere that supports calm, concentration, and quiet reflection. Sometimes, having something gentle playing in the background is all we need to make an ordinary moment feel a little more spacious.
I’d like to introduce you to another part of my creative work: Peace on Earth Meditation, my YouTube channel featuring original ambient and contemplative music.
As a lifelong musician, composer, and music educator, I’ve always been interested in the ways music can shape our experience of time, attention, and emotion. My years of practicing and teaching meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong have also influenced how I think about creating music for contemplative listening.
I’m now sharing a growing collection of original compositions designed for relaxation, meditation, reading, studying, creative work, and the quieter moments of everyday life.
Featured Listening: Suspended Light
My most recent composition, Suspended Light, explores the subtle changes that can occur within a sustained musical environment.
Built around a singular harmony, the piece gradually unfolds through shifting textures and timbres. Rather than following a conventional melody or chord progression, it invites you to settle into the sound and notice its gentle transformations.
Accompanying the music is a luminous animated landscape of clouds, mist, and softly changing light.

Music for Different Moments
The channel also includes compositions inspired by nature, spacious harmonies, mysterious landscapes, and contemplative musical traditions.
Some pieces are especially suited to quiet meditation. Others work beautifully as background music for reading, writing, studying, or creative projects.
There’s no particular way you need to listen. You might give the music your full attention, or simply let it become part of the atmosphere around you.
An Invitation to Listen
If you enjoy these musical environments, I invite you to explore Peace on Earth Meditation on YouTube.
And if you’d like to hear future compositions as they’re released, please consider subscribing to the channel.
Here at Five Element Harmony, we’ll continue exploring simple mindfulness practices and everyday ways to recalibrate. Peace on Earth Meditation offers a complementary experience: original music to accompany those quieter moments.
Thank you for listening, and I hope you find something that resonates with you.
