Meditation for Late Summer

The season of late summer is associated with the earth element (from the five elements). The earth element itself is strongly associated with the stomach/spleen organ system, which includes the stomach, spleen, pancreas, lips, joints, and muscles. Doing Qigong exercises that target any of these components will benefit the other components as well. For example, doing a Qigong exercise that benefits the stomach will also bring positive results for the joints. In the accompanying video, I provide a guided meditation that incorporates the positive emotion of peacefulness and the earth-related color of yellow to support the stomach/spleen organ system. While this meditation is especially directed at late summer, it can be followed at other times of year as well.
